Fund Green Energy, Not War

To: Rep. Maloy, Sen. Lee, Sen. Curtis

From: A constituent in Salt Lake City, UT

March 17

I need you to shift federal funding from military spending to green energy infrastructure. We're pouring hundreds of billions into wars and weapons while our energy grid crumbles and climate disasters drain our economy. Green energy is cheaper, smarter, and creates more jobs than fossil fuels. Solar and wind projects employ more workers per dollar than defense contracts, and those jobs rebuild America instead of bombing other countries. Every billion we move from the Pentagon to renewable infrastructure makes us more energy independent and economically secure. The choice is simple: keep funding endless wars that make us less safe, or invest in technology that actually protects our future. Other countries are racing ahead on clean energy while we waste money on military budgets that dwarf the rest of the world combined. I want to see you fight to redirect war spending into green energy that benefits Americans at home.
