Pass strong protections for abortion access in our state now, and close the legal gaps that allow women to be prosecuted or stalked across state lines for exercising their reproductive rights. This is urgent. Women in this state deserve to make their own healthcare decisions without fear of criminal pursuit from another state's laws. Other states are actively attempting to reach across borders to prosecute women and those who help them. That is unacceptable. We need explicit state-level shields that block cooperation with out-of-state investigations targeting abortion, criminalize the interstate stalking of women seeking care, and protect their personal data from being weaponized against them. Women's rights are not a political abstraction. They are the daily reality of your constituents. Act on this now.
