Trump should not even have the power to enact tariffs, and it’s a dereliction of your duty when you continue to allow him to make these threats and pronouncements and unilateral decisions about these taxes on the American people. Take this power back from this man who neither understands what a tariff does nor who pays it. He is destabilizing the entire country and you are letting him. You need to start holding him to his limited powers of the executive. That’s already way more power than a man like him should have, but it’s complete chaos, dangerous chaos, when he takes your power and ignores the judiciary as well. This is an emergency that threatens our very foundation as a country. Act like it.
