I am riding today to state in the strongest possible terms that you as my elected official must do all that you can to dismantle and defund ICE. The murder of the woman in Minneapolis yesterday is only the latest of its outrages. There is no accountability, and the cruelty and violence that ICE perpetrate on our communities is intolerable. We are not even inches away from a gestapo- like force in our own country. It must end. ICE was instituted not that long ago. It can be dismantled. I am asking you as your constituent to do everything in your power to dismantle ICE.
