Do not outlaw absentee voting
To: Justices Court
From: A constituent in Cedar Falls, IA
March 24
Mail-in voting has been important part of life in the 21st century. It's not only important for all our service members overseas, but it's important for those that travel. Of course back when the Constitution was written there were not many traveling or serving overseas.
Not only is absentee ballot voting secure, in some states it is more secure than same day voting, since some states hand count the mail in ballots.
Absentee ballot voting is also more accessible to those places that have long lines, in polling precincts, especially those that are marginalized in society.
PLEASE do not outlaw absentee voting!
