Protect the rights of those with disabilities to be cared for in their homes and communities! The Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel issued a memorandum opinion on Olmstead and the integration mandate concluding that neither Section 504 nor Title II of the ADA imposes a legally enforceable integration mandate on states in the way DOJ and HHS have interpreted for years. This has the potential of rolling back protections of those with disabilities to be cared for by their families, as my son is. Please take a stand!
