I was deployed for extended periods during the Vietnam war. While an Air Force pilot has somewhat better accommodatios than a crewmember aboard an aircraft carrier, I can testify that morale certainly doesn’t improve when the toilets are backed up, the air-conditioning doesn’t work, the water is polluted, and care packages from home are delayed for weeks. Given that the presidents remarks yesterday were particularly disgusting. Our sailors and troops deserve better. And of course, they deserve better from you.
