Just like a reality TV show: we have labor secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer accused of drinking on the job and having an affair with a subordinate (thankfully she resigned); Kash Patel accused of all kinds of reckless behavior related to his abuse of alcohol (he needs to resign); Jared Kushner- with no role in the federal government, and having been paid $2 billion by the Saudis- pursuing $ deals with other Middle Eastern countries- negotiating peace deals (no “official” role to resign from); AND new reporting of patterns of purchase spikes in stocks minutes or seconds before Trump tweets about Iran, causing predictable jumps in the market, indicative of insider trading (we MUST HAVE OVERSIGHT). Meanwhile Trump obsesses over his ballroom, and billions of taxpayer dollars are being wasted on a war of choice that has no offramp in sight. All of this and the GOP Congress is sitting back watching our country burn. THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE. IF YOU AREN’T ACTIVELY PUTTING OUT THE FLAMES, THEN YOU ARE COMPLICIT. You will be held accountable at the ballot box and throughout history.
