On March 3, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem will testify. Congress must use that hearing to demand answers. I am calling on you to launch a full investigation into ICE’s illegal detentions, subpoena DHS and ICE leadership, and hold public hearings exposing how this agency has violated the law thousands of times. The facts are undeniable: courts have found that ICE broke the law more than 4,400 times. Detention is at record highs. Children are behind bars. Taxpayer dollars are funding a system that tramples basic rights. It is your sworn duty to uphold the law and the constitution.
