Trump has delayed the opening of the new Gordie Howe bridge which connects Michigan and Canada. It appears he is doing so to benefit a major political donor, because that donor donated $1 million to Trump's super pack earlier this year. Federal campaign finance records show Matthew Moroun donated $1 million to Trump’s super PAC earlier this year. The Moroun family own the privately held Ambassador Bridge between Detroit and Windsor, and don't want financial competition that the Gordie Howe bridge would bring. The Ambassador Bridge toll currently charges up to $10 per automobile and $20 per axel for commercial trucks. This is open Pay For Play corruption from Trump. I am so thoroughly sick of seeing Trump line his own pockets instead of representing the interests of the American people. He is a disgrace to the office he holds. The Republican majority in Congress is directly responsible for allow this and all other corruption carried out by the Trump administration. You may be turning a blind eye, but your voter base is not. We see you and we see your complicity in the largest corruption that the US government has ever perpetrated on the American public. Trump must be held accountable!
