An Open Letter

To: Rep. Boebert

From: A constituent in Englewood, CO

January 28

I'm writing regarding House Resolution 996, the motion to impeach Secretary Noem. I read the list of co-sponsors and noticed you were not on the list I saw. Why? Colorado and Minnesota, politically, sure highly similar states, though Colorado is less white and more diverse than Minnesota. Denver, just nine miles from the northern end of the district that you represent has substantial similarities to Minneapolis, though Denver is more diverse with a larger minority population. Colorado has similarities, politically, to Maine as well. Given that Colorado did not vote for President Trump in 2024, that our state is much more racially diverse than those so far targeted by ICE, it's shocking that you have not taken action to protect your constituents by co-sponsoring H.Res. 996. As your constituent, I urge you to support H.Res. 996 and co-sponsor the resolution to impeach Secretary Noem.
