No ICE facility in Utah

I absolutely reject the notion of an ICE detention center in Utah; it is at odds with who we are and what we value. Do we look back on the Topaz interment camp fondly? No. We do not. We have seen how ICE is arresting FAR more than hardened criminals, in fact arresting immigrants whose only crime is striving to escape violence in their home countries. ICE is tearing apart families, destroying lives, and even taking away lives with their brazen and incompetent violence and brutality. I reject any support or acceptance of an ICE facility in Utah, and I reject any elected or appointed government official who supports or enables the siting of an ICE facility in Utah. Please do the right thing and stand up for our values.
