And what exactly did you accomplish with your senseless plan to not fund TSA? Let me review the consequences of your actions. 1. Over 500 TSA agents QUIT which results in a huge cost to rehire and train new agents – IF you can get them. 2. Agents were not paid for over a MONTH causing many to default on loans, have vehicles repossessed, miss payments, credit downgrades, and mental anguish of which you would never understand. 3. Travel safety was AND STILL is, at risk – you yap about “keeping Americans safe” yet your actions are the exact opposite. 4. The ticket fee charged to every passenger could have been used to pay TSA and your CHOICE to divert that money elsewhere is a huge LIE to Americans. Acting as if there is no money is simply a lie and you have been exposed. All the while, ICE/CBP are being paid and you lie saying that democrats don’t care about security – shame on you! Yet – when you want to go on vacation – to hell with your constituents and all of the federal workers who are NOT getting paid. The shame you will never feel is why you are and continue to be a doormat to one person who would throw you to the wolves in a nanosecond. Shame on you, shame on your staff, shame on your NON-service to this country. You LIED to us acting as if the democrats didn’t care about our safety in this country yet you now are going to be voting on exactly what the democrats offered to avoid this shutdown. Republicans cannot govern, you don’t understand leadership and most of us will not miss you when you take that old ugly costume home and get out of our lives. We never saw you anyway and will not miss you.
