Grassley: Wedding Chapel Yes. Child Rape No?
To: Sen. Grassley
From: A verified voter in Des Moines, IA
March 27
I am your constituent. I pay taxes. I vote. And I have one question I need you to answer directly: Is there anything Donald Trump can do — any law he can break, any child he can harm, any war he can start — that would finally compel you to act? Because here is what you have watched happen and said nothing: TRUMP STARTED AN UNAUTHORIZED WAR On February 28, 2026, the U.S. launched military strikes on Iran without a declaration of war and without a congressional vote — in direct violation of Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution. A bipartisan war powers resolution was brought to a vote. Republican leadership killed it, 219 to 212. American service members are now in harm's way in a war Congress never declared. You let it happen. THERE ARE FEDERAL DOCUMENTS NAMING TRUMP IN THE ABUSE OF A CHILD The Epstein files are not a conspiracy theory. They are formal federal records released under the bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act — which passed the Senate unanimously. Those records include a filed federal complaint from a woman who alleged she was raped by Trump at age 13. An FBI memo places Virginia Giuffre's recruitment at Trump's own Mar-a-Lago club. Not a rumor. Not a tweet. Federal documents. You investigated a wedding chapel for financial irregularities. You have called for zero investigation into this. HE BRANDED OUR CURRENCY WITH HIS NAME For the first time in 247 years, a sitting president has placed his personal signature on American paper currency. The same president who has already put his name on the Kennedy Center, federal warships, drug programs, and savings accounts belonging to the American people. This is our money. It does not belong to one man. HE IS DISMANTLING SOCIAL SECURITY Working Americans have paid into Social Security their entire lives. It is being systematically dismantled. The elderly, the disabled, and veterans are watching their security disappear. You are watching too. So tell me, Senator: How many laws have to be broken? How many children have to be harmed? How many soldiers have to die in an undeclared war? How much money has to be stolen from working Americans? What is the number? What would it take? Senator Murkowski — your own colleague — told 500 people: "We are all afraid. Retaliation is real." She called it wrong. Fear of a primary is not a moral defense. It is not an answer to a raped child. It is not an answer to a family who lost someone in an unconstitutional war. History will not accept it. If there is truly nothing this president can do that would move you to act, then we are no longer talking about party loyalty. We are talking about collaboration. Who do you represent — us, or him? I expect a direct answer. I will share your response — or your silence — with every voter I know. Respectfully, but without apology,
