You and your Republican colleagues claim to stand for “protecting children” and call yourselves “Pro-Life.” Yet, when given the opportunity yesterday to release the Epstein Files—a record containing the names of hundreds, if not thousands, of pedophiles who paid Jeffrey Epstein to abuse children—you voted not to release them. That vote was a betrayal not only of every child who suffered at the hands of predators but also of the values you claim to represent. By choosing secrecy over justice, you protected abusers instead of the innocent. You shielded the powerful rather than defending the vulnerable. Let’s be clear: Jesus did not stand with the oppressors. He did not protect the wolves who preyed upon the lambs. He stood with the abused, the neglected, the voiceless. Your actions fly in the face of everything Jesus taught and everything you claim to believe. If you truly believe in protecting children, prove it. Stop hiding behind empty slogans and partisan posturing. Demand full release of the Epstein Files and hold every predator accountable—no matter their wealth, their power, or their political connections. Anything less is complicity. And complicity in the protection of pedophiles is not “Pro-Life”—it is a moral failure of the highest order. I expect an explanation of your vote, and more importantly, I expect you to take action to stand with the children who were victimized instead of the criminals who exploited them.
