It is widely believed that we will experience a powerful blue wave this election cycle. That's great! But in anticipation of such an event, I am writing to encourage you to embrace bold new leadership in the Senate. Senator Chuck Schumer has proved either unwilling or unable to provide a strong response to Trump's lawlessness and chaos. It is time to take on leaders who will take action, as opposed to those who view strongly-worded objections as pushing the envelope. As you are a Senate Democrat and my state senator, I am asking you to take the initiative in finding bold, new Democratic leadership in the next congress. In the event of the anticipated blue wave, please take all appropriate steps to refresh our leadership.
