I am horrified by ICE’s abuses in Minnesota and elsewhere. You, as my representative, need to refuse to vote for any DHS appropriations bill that fails to rein them in. And I’d like my representatives to make a public statement saying as much. We can’t wait around while ICE harms more people. You must push for an appropriations bill that puts serious restrictions on it, ends its dragnet raids, and doesn’t add a penny to its already bloated budget.
