Donald Trump’s threat to revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship is not just absurd—it’s a fascist threat against the very foundation of this country. Citizenship is a constitutional right, not a privilege granted at the whim of a narcissistic strongman. The fact that a former president—and current Oval Office occupant—feels emboldened to openly threaten an American citizen for daring to criticize him should terrify every one of you. This is not a game. These aren’t idle words. They’re trial balloons for authoritarianism, floated to see how much more power he can seize before anyone dares to stop him. If we allow this language to go unchecked, we are inviting a future where political dissent becomes a punishable offense and loyalty to one man outweighs loyalty to the Constitution. Do your jobs. Speak out publicly, forcefully, and immediately. Demand censure. Demand investigations. Demand consequences. Because if we don’t shut this down now, the next citizen whose rights he threatens could be one of your constituents—or one of your own family members. This is a line in the sand.
