As someone who has seen ridiculous gerrymandering firsthand, I am absolutely against redistricting!
For example, people living on the Ohio River were put in a district with those in Bloomington, almost a 2 hour drive. This was done for political purposes and led to people being represented by people they didn’t know or never saw.
As a former school board member, I helped redistrict my county based on population with the 2020 census. I was very mindful that all parts of the county be represented. I also did not use my responsibility to put self serving areas into my own district.
President Trump should have no part of our state run elections. His threatening remarks are beyond reprehensible. You need to represent people like me.
Indiana should not be redistricted, and I will remember your stance at election time.
Be strong for us in Indiana and our state Constitution!
