Healthcare coverage should not be stripped from millions of Americans to fund tax cuts that disproportionately benefit the wealthy. Medicaid provides crucial access to care for over 13 million people, and cutting this vital program would have devastating impacts on public health and financial security for vulnerable populations. Instead of reducing healthcare funding, a more equitable solution would be to adjust tax policies to ensure the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share and contribute to maintaining a strong social safety net that benefits all. Healthcare is a human right and should remain a priority over providing excessive tax breaks to those who can afford to pay more.
