RE: Why did you vote to block the Epstein files? I genuinely need an answer.
To: Sen. Curtis, Sen. Lee
From: A constituent in Riverton, UT
September 11, 2025
I apologize, I sent a strongly worded fax before this one. I’m just appalled at your recent vote to block the Epstein Documents.
As a man of God, I feel it is my duty to do the right thing, no matter the circumstances or pain it would cause.
I understand you to be a man of God, or so claim to be. This? Today? Was not something a man of God would do.
Even if there is falling out, or as I like to call it “consequence for evil doings”, we as a country need those to come to light.
Releasing the Epstein Files would not “destroy those men’s lives”, their actions, their repeated raping of children destroyed theirs, and their victims lives.
Slowly, with each effort to protect and defend these powerful pedophiles, you are destroying your own lives.
How will God measure you? How will he reflect on this day when you stand before him? Knowing that you actively, repeatedly, and unwaveringly protected sexual predators? I’d tell you, but I know you know that answer.
Your faith without works is very much in jeopardy, and I’m sorry my anger came through on my last fax, but I know victims of sexual assault, and I know their pain as you continue to defend those who perform such evil actions.
Please, I need to know why you did it. As your constituent, a donor, and a concerned citizen — why? What reasons did you have to do this?
