As a constituent who calls Louisiana my home, I forcefully demand that you vote no on the CR bill headed to the senate. It is an unconstitutional proposal on the grounds that it gives the president and Elon Musk “power of the purse,” which rightfully belongs in the House of Representatives! How can you even think of handing your own power over to the president in direct opposition to one of the strongest pillars of the constitution?!? Please, vote not only for the good of your state, but also out of simple self-preservation! Do not let Donald Trump make you and the legislature obsolete. He has no loyalty to you nor the American people. Please stand up and do the right thing! Vote NO!!!!
