I recently read that the Office of Personnel Management plans to require federal employees to sign "non-disclosure agreements." I plan to make a public comment when that capability is available. But I also call upon my elected legislators, Senator Warner, Senator Kaine, and Congressman Walkinshaw, to oppose this proposal. It would compromise congressional oversight, make the whistleblower process far more dangerous, and chill the speech of public servants. As representatives of huge numbers of government employees, you know how high the stakes are. Your constituents need you to use every possible tool to f ight this.
