You were elected to represent your CONSTITUENTS, and you took an oath. A functional democracy demands accountability, civic participation and adherence to the rule of law, NOT blind obedience to a man. It is unconscionable for you to choose to give permanent tax cuts to the already ultra wealthy, because by doing so, you will increase the deficit substantially. The top 10% income bracket will not suffer ANY harm if they are required to pay more taxes; however, cutting funding and dedicated employees from departments and programs such as EPA, CDC, FDA, HHS, CMS, ILMS, NOAA, IRS, FEMA, LIHEAP, SNAP, DoE, etc. WILL HARM YOUR CONSTITUENTS UNNECESSARILY and is absolutely unconscionable. How can you possibly justify deliberately cutting essential services and benefits to the most vulnerable, tossing them into poverty, forcing them to subsidize tax cuts for the very well to do? The billionaires are laughing at the prospect of “owning the libs”, while you bad mouth your constituents by calling us “the radical left” and such nonsense. We are Americans, we are not heartless a-holes, we are human beings, worthy of your respect, and we are tired of asking you to honor your oath. We demand that you honor your oath and cease disrespecting us, stop lying to us. You claim to be fiscally responsible, yet you have been pushing cutting the very programs that help the bottom 90% of our country to SURVIVE. How about investigating insider trading, violations of the Emoluments Clause, abuses of power, excessive spending on golf trips and unnecessary public outings, crypto grifting, backdoor pay for play, and this administration’s embrace of authoritarianism, Putin, and fascism? The constant attacks on the rule of law with these baffling EO’s, defiance of court orders, implementation of Project 2025 (it will be bloodless if the left allows it), the actual weaponization of government - wielded by the lawless and reckless DOJ, FBI, DHS, ICE, etc., not to mention the use of DOGE targeting secure government computer systems, all in plain sight while you do NOTHING. YOU ARE THE CHECKS AND BALANCES, and you refuse to step up. WHY? We are not “fear mongering” we have the FACTS. You refuse to listen. WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY FROM YOU. Our democracy can’t wait until the next election for you to do the right thing. Stop being scared of this President, fear is not leadership. We are NOT overreacting. NO ONE IS PAYING US TO PROTEST, THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE.
