President Trump's replacement picked to run DHS ia a guy who has never served a single day in the military. Despite that, he has been on Fox News taking about war like he's a combat veteran. Markwayne Mullin, Oklahoma senator and professional stolen-valor cosplayer, went on Fox News this week and waxed poetic about the "smell of war" and how it fills your nostrils and you "never forget it." Rep. Pat Ryan, a West Point grad with two combat tours in Iraq, responded by asking Mullin what he was talking about, adding that Call of Duty doesn't count. His actual background? He inherited his father's plumbing company and had a stint as a professional MMA fighter. But this isn't new. After January 6th, he told C-SPAN he'd "been in these situations before" ,and when pressed on his background, refused to elaborate. Nothing quite like stolen valor. This man is completely unqualified to hold the position he is being appointed for. Vote No on his confirmation.
