Dear HUD, The families I serve have fought hard to reach stability. This rule threatens all of it. The families I serve have fought hard to reach stability. They deserve to keep it. A person with a severe cognitive disability cannot navigate a documentation process designed for people without those barriers. This rule doesn't care. It evicts them anyway. People with cognitive disabilities may not understand the documentation requirements or deadlines. Over 269,000 citizens in New Jersey would face new documentation hurdles under this proposed rule. HUD sheds costs by pushing them onto others. In New Jersey, Please keep families and friends and comunties together. Do the right thing for families. Withdraw this rule. Thank you for listening.
