The current budget continuing resolution expires 1/30/26. The massive funding of Immigration & Customs Enforcement has encouraged agents to try to outdo Germany's 1940s Gestapo in terms of cruelty and deadliness. The prime example is the murder of Renee Good by an ICE Agent. If these actions aren't stopped, there will be more deaths, and more fear. The actions of ICE have made the agency undeserving of the funding Congress generously gave them in the current CR. I am writing to strongly urge you to personally vote for stripping this rogue agency of any funding for the fiscal year of 2026 and beyond. Eliminate militarization, reduce the number of agents, and return the agency to its previous function before the beginning of the current Administration. The following measures should also be taken: resignations or impeachments of the current head of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, border enforcement chief Tom Homan, and any of the people who work under them.
