Demand Full Investigation of Epstein Files Allegations

To: Sen. Lee, Sen. Curtis, Rep. Maloy

From: A constituent in Salt Lake City, UT

March 28

The Department of Justice must immediately launch a full investigation into the allegations contained in the recently released Epstein files. A woman provided detailed testimony across four FBI interviews alleging she was sexually assaulted by President Trump when she was a minor in the 1980s. DOJ officials found her credible enough to interview her four times. That demands action, not silence. At least 37 pages of notes that informed these interview summaries remain missing, along with internal communications showing how this case was resolved. The DOJ initially withheld three of the four interview summaries, incorrectly calling them "duplicative" until reporters caught the discrepancy. This looks like a cover-up. No one is above the law. If DOJ officials believed this woman's account warranted multiple interviews, then it warrants a proper investigation with subpoena power and witness testimony under oath. The public deserves to know why this case appears to have been buried and whether political considerations played any role in that decision. Release the missing 37 pages. Explain why the investigation was dropped. And if you were involved in any decision to withhold these documents or halt this investigation, recuse yourself immediately and support the appointment of a special counsel.
