There are three items coming up for a vote this week that I strongly oppose. I want the Congressmember to vote no on all of them, and I’ll be watching closely. They are: 1 HR 22 (https://substack.com/redirect/6ee80e55-5c8d-428a-8147-63ce8bb362d8?j=eyJ1IjoiNm1seXYifQ.otOmJiKbuVjJchpYlNRHfEdUeScpGrrwie9zwfsSQuI) the SAVE Act, a voter suppression bill that’ll disenfranchise 21 million American citizens (https://substack.com/redirect/af048959-0c00-4df9-84a5-1b9cb19f7fa2?j=eyJ1IjoiNm1seXYifQ.otOmJiKbuVjJchpYlNRHfEdUeScpGrrwie9zwfsSQuI) with no birth certificate or passport and 69 million married women (https://substack.com/redirect/20a11bf5-f4f5-42d2-9ee1-0036058e1db1?j=eyJ1IjoiNm1seXYifQ.otOmJiKbuVjJchpYlNRHfEdUeScpGrrwie9zwfsSQuI) who’ve changed their names, 2 HR 1526 (https://substack.com/redirect/3c58dfe9-5aae-4804-b589-cb2a7a97286e?j=eyJ1IjoiNm1seXYifQ.otOmJiKbuVjJchpYlNRHfEdUeScpGrrwie9zwfsSQuI) the No Rogue Rulings Act, a bill that would undermine the federal judiciary (https://substack.com/redirect/5122bcce-e8ae-4e7c-b83d-4ed16a5de44b?j=eyJ1IjoiNm1seXYifQ.otOmJiKbuVjJchpYlNRHfEdUeScpGrrwie9zwfsSQuI) while tipping the scales of justice in favor of Republican attorneys general, and 3 the Republican Budget Resolution that orders cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, gives huge tax cuts to the mega-rich, and relies on the dishonest “current policy baseline” to make it seem like it wouldn’t be adding trillions to the deficit even though it would. I expect a no vote on all of these. Thanks.
