Bill Gates recently said that the picture of the world’s richest man killing the world’s poorest children is not a pretty one. He was referring, of course, to DOGE cutting funding for USAID and other relief programs, and it is a terrible sight. But he isn’t doing it alone. You’re helping him! He doesn’t have the authority to be in this made up government agency, he doesn’t have the authority to cut or take funding. That would be up to Congress - up to YOU. His legacy is forever tarnished by this, and rightly so, he will be forever known for killing children and hobbling American government and cancelling cancer research and all that. He deserves that. And your legacy will be forever tarnished because all this was your constitutional duty to control and you didn’t. Your legacy is tarnished because you did nothing. You deserve that, too.
