I am very concerned about the credible rumors that the Trump administration will not be approving COVID vaccines for use this fall. As a Biology professor, I understand the fantastic benefits we get from vaccines, and the incredible innovation of the newer mRNA-based vaccines. As a daughter and parent, I fear for the health of my mother and my child if they are unable to get this updated vaccine. Loss of vaccination of the population as a whole will lead to unnecessary, intolerable increased illness and death from COVID-19, and a return to the horrors of early 2020. Please do everything that you can to ensure that the COVID vaccine will be available for all Americans. Thank you so much. I appreciate all you do for New Jersey and the US.
