An Open Letter
To: Rep. Graves
From: A constituent in Plattsburg, MO
March 24
You have failed. YOU are the Transportation Committee Chair – transportation safety in this country is YOUR JOB.
You have failed. In the past year dozens have died and been injured in airline crashes.
You have failed. It is YOUR job to ensure safety at airports.
YOU have failed to ensure that there are sufficient air traffic controllers in the towers.
YOU should have ensured that funds and staffing bills were passed in your committee.
YOU know how important commercial airline traffic is in this country.
YOU have failed in your most important job in congress.
YOU should resign as chairman; blood is on your hands.
You prance around in your silly costume pretending to know all about the airline industry yet you are a complete and total failure when it comes time to get the job done.
Resign from this committee and let someone more competent to take over.
Better yet, retire. You are no longer an effective elected official and should be ashamed of yourself.
YOU failed us and there is blood on your hands.
