Demand Accountability for ICE Agents unprofessionalism

To: Sen. Risch, Rep. Simpson, Sen. Crapo

From: A constituent in Ammon, ID

January 18

I’m writing as a concerned citizen to express that I am shocked and appalled by what is currently happening in Minnesota with federal immigration enforcement activity and the growing violence surrounding it. I support law enforcement, and I support removing violent criminals who are in this country illegally. But what I continue to see from is an unprofessional group of thugs that violate civil liberties and are embarrassment to Federal Law Enforcement. I do not support the arrest, beating, or shooting of citizens, and I strongly oppose ICE or federal agents going door-to-door in ways that violate constitutional rights. The level of force and escalation we are seeing is unacceptable and is pushing our communities toward fear and chaos that will soon spread across the country. This is not a partisan message, It is a moral one and a constitutional one. I urge you to do what you can to stop this escalation, demand accountability, and call for the resignation of Kristi Noem as DHS Secretary.
