The Navy has lost 3 F/A 18 Hornets off the Truman in the last few months and the same ship had a collision with a commercial vessel. Estimated losses around $180 million which is probably a low figure since each Hornet costs about $60 million. But ... SECDEF Pete Hegseth is focused on renaming ships! I fear for the welfare of our Sailors and Servicemembers under his incompetent leadership. * They justify renaming the John Lewis class of ships as getting rid of DEI, but let’s call it what it is - sexism, racism and homophobia. I adamantly OPPOSE renaming these Navy vessels. It's a stupid waste of time and a distraction from military missions. PLUS, ALL SAILORS KNOW IT'S BAD LUCK! PLEASE MAKE THIS NONSENSE STOP!!
