I need you to support the articles of impeachment against President Trump that Rep. John Larson introduced on Tuesday. Trump's threat to end "a whole civilization" if Iran didn't meet his deadline crossed a line that cannot be ignored, ceasefire or not. The fact that Trump agreed to a two week ceasefire moments before his own deadline doesn't erase what he threatened to do. He was willing to commit genocide over a shipping lane dispute. That threat alone demonstrates he is unfit to hold nuclear codes and command our military. More than 85 House Democrats have already called for Trump's impeachment or removal via the 25th Amendment. This isn't a partisan witch hunt. This is about preventing a president who threatens to wipe out entire civilizations from having another opportunity to follow through. The ceasefire is temporary. Trump's willingness to make that threat is permanent. Vote yes on impeachment. The American people deserve a president who doesn't threaten war crimes on social media.
