Deep Disappointment in Your Vote on the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act"
To: Rep. Finstad
From: A verified voter in Blue Earth, MN
May 22
I’m writing as a constituent to express my deep disappointment in your recent vote in favor of the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” While the name may sound aspirational, the contents are anything but.
This bill undermines critical healthcare protections for millions of Americans, including people in our own district. Stripping away Medicaid access, weakening the ACA, and threatening Medicare benefits will cause real harm—especially to the elderly, disabled, working-class families, and those living in rural communities.
This isn’t just policy—it’s people’s lives. Your vote sends a clear message that political ideology is being placed above public well-being, and that’s something I never expected or hoped to see from my elected representative.
I urge you to reconsider your priorities as we move forward. We need leaders who will stand up for access to affordable, comprehensive healthcare—not take it away.
