Congress is considering a Farm Bill that fails to address some of the biggest problems in our food system, including the proliferation of factory farms. Even worse, the draft Farm Bill includes “Cancer Gag” language that would shield pesticide companies like Bayer from health-related lawsuits. Bayer has spent over $11 billion settling lawsuits related to glyphosate, the key ingredient in its pesticide Roundup, which has been deemed as likely carcinogenic. We must stop Congress from shielding companies like Bayer from accountability!
