An Open Letter

To: Sen. Tillis, Rep. Harrigan, Sen. Budd

From: A constituent in Denver, NC

April 29

“If there are military hostilities beyond the 60 days, Congress has to authorize them, or Congress can block them," Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) said on Tuesday. "But Congress has to act." The war in Iran will reach the 60-day mark on Friday, May 1. The 1973 War Powers Act forces the president to secure congressional authorization to carry on hostilities. So what are you doing to authorize or block continued hostilities against IRAN? There are no real negotiations going on and gassing prices are stuck higher and higher. Do Your Job!
