January 24

First I am very disappointed that you voted for the Larken Riley act. This law will make our communities less safe by diverting resources to investigating undocumented people. I’m disgusted by Trump’s blanket pardon of January 6 rioters—many of them violent. It’s an assault on our rule of law and endangers all Americans. I do hope the senator issues a statement denouncing this brazen abuse of authority which will also make our country less safe. Finally, I want the Senator to vote NO on Pete Hegseth’s nomination. Yesterday we learned of new allegations against him—disturbing claims that his second wife feared for her safety because of his behavior. Enough is enough. Hegseth’s record of misconduct, extreme views, and lack of qualifications make him unfit to lead the Department of Defense. The American people want and deserve leadership that prioritizes unity, competence, and the integrity of our institutions. Lisa Murkowski had the courage to say she’ll oppose Hegseth. The Senator should as well. Thanks.
