Seriously, Matt Gaetz? Please, we ALL know better than to confirm this guy as ATTORNEY GENERAL of the United States. He is not qualified, there is/was an active ethics committee investigation into his ETHICS only a few short days ago, and even his Republican colleagues can’t bring themselves to endorse him. When Gaetz was nominated by Trump for this position, I thought it was the first funny thing I’d heard in US politics since the election. Until I realized how terrifying it is. What an embarrassment. The potential of having a man found liable for sexual assault as president, and now an accused/suspected pedophile sex trafficker as attorney general… what kind of country are we? How many women will be abused or assaulted because these men show other would-be rapists that you can do what they have done and still ascend to the highest level of American leadership? I’m embarrassed for my country, and scared for my daughters. We can do better. DO NOT CONFIRM MATT GAETZ and urge the ethics committee to release the results of their investigation. For the good of the country, let’s be role models, not co-conspirators.
