As your constituent, I am asking you to do everything possible to stop our motor vehicles department from giving information to ICE. ICE is using a system meant for law enforcement communications to track down immigrants. Many immigrants and citizens are already afraid of driving due to the risk of being violently arrested by ICE. People are afraid to go to work, access healthcare, and drive their kids to school. Moreover, this is an invasion of ALL of our privacy, immigrant or not. You have the power to stop ICE from using this data. I am hoping you will do the right thing and stand up for our privacy. Thank you.
