Vote no on permanent daylight savings time

To: Rep. Downing, Sen. Daines, Sen. Sheehy

From: A verified voter in Helena, MT

July 15

Could you all for once vote for the health of Montanans? Of all the ridiculous things to be pushing right now, the fact a bill to make Daylight Savings Time permanent is actually set to advance in the House is just ridiculous. And, in this case, dangerous for the health of Montanans. The science is very clear that standard time aligns with our circadian rhythms and is safer for children with mornings being lighter for driving to school and allows better functioning for everyone during the day. In a state with one of the highest suicide rates in the nation, making it stay dark until virtually 9 in the morning in the winter for a false construct is simply dangerous. The fact this is even on the list of things the House may actually pass is pathetic. Vote no if this really makes its way to the floor.
