Boldly audit all elections since 2015. We need full transparency to vote again.
To: Sen. Hollo, Gov. Stein, Rep. Adams
From: A constituent in Hickory, NC
July 27
We have a serious credibility issue in North Carolina that must be addressed before the 2026 election. The six-month court battle for the State Supreme Court seat, the repeated gerrymandering to block minority neighborhoods, and the blatant disregard for over six thousand voters all demonstrate corrupt party politics manipulating the will of the people. In addition, the NC Legislature shifted voter authority to one man after the election because of his party affiliation. Therefore, voter integrity in this state is not to be trusted.
Despite all of the posturing and disingenuous rhetoric, the problem is not about voter ID fraud or votes being made by “aliens,” pets, or “dead people.” The issue is about lack of transparency about whether or not each and every vote is being counted.
We therefore need a complete audit of all votes done by NC citizens for the 2016, 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024 elections. The public needs to know exactly what happened with every vote so we can have clarity that a paper ballot is actually being recorded correctly by any and every electronic system used to count our vote. We need to know that our government can be trusted. Yes
