Medicare Waste, fraud and abuse: I'm on Medicare administered by Humana. I go for my quarterly check ups and stay on top of my health with my Doctors. Here is where the WASTE, FRAUD and ABUSE comes in. I constantly get phone call from Humana trying to force unwanted "Home Visits" of "Tests" that they ALWAYS go out of their way to tell me it is "Free". It's not FREE!!! These are paid for by the US Government! Humana has 2x's sent me a home Urinalysis test that I have done every 3 months when I visit my doctor. That cost $$$ I do Not do the test, yet they call me and harass me to do it. Not to mention Humana Owns their own Pharmacy, Centerwell. I manage my Medication very well and order them as I need them Yet I constantly get calls from Centerwell attempting to get me to order Refills that I do not need yet. Now I stay on top of these things, How many do not? How much additional expense is the US Government accruing by people who hear "Free" and just take additional non needed testing of Medications? Congress needs to look into this and STOP this waste! Stop kissing up to the Healthcare Lobby! and do your jobs and fix this!
