Support a state wide reporting system in Maryland like the one in Massachusetts

Support the New Federal Misconduct Reporting Portal and create one in Maryland I'm writing to express my strong support for the new online portal at mass.gov/fedmisconduct that allows Massachusetts residents to report misconduct by federal immigration enforcement agents. This is exactly the kind of transparency and accountability measure our state needs. Attorney General Campbell has documented aggressive and reckless tactics from ICE that have spread fear and chaos in our communities. Residents deserve a centralized way to report unlawful activity by ICE, CBP, and other federal agencies, and to upload evidence like photos and videos. Organizations like Catholic Charities Boston report that clients across their programs are living in fear and anxiety, unable to access vital services. I ask you to continue supporting this portal and the broader effort to increase oversight of federal immigration enforcement in Massachusetts and all of the nation. Please back the pending legislation to block ICE operations in sensitive locations like courthouses, schools, hospitals, and places of worship. Federal agents must follow the law when operating in our state, and this reporting system will help identify patterns of misconduct and inform necessary legal action. Our communities need protection from unlawful enforcement tactics. We need a state wide reporting system for Maryland!
