Cuts to PBS and to local affiliates, among other public educational media resources, are intolerable. NO. As a parent, PBS has provided my family with much higher quality media than corporations, the kind of educational television that has helped my young child understand and navigate illness and doctor visits, dentist visits, conflicts with friends and other social skills, joining a school environment, and even the death of loved ones. NO CUTS TO PBS. Please, please stand up for something your constituents care deeply about!
