I am writing to you as a deeply concerned constituent regarding the growing threat that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. poses to our public health infrastructure, and to respectfully urge you to begin drawing up articles of impeachment against him should he gain or hold public office with such overreach.
RFK Jr.’s decision to dismantle the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is not only reckless—it is dangerous. This committee has long ensured evidence-based vaccine recommendations that directly impact whether or not insurance providers will cover vaccinations. That is a cornerstone of our nation’s public health system. According to Senator Bill Cassidy, Kennedy had previously committed to maintaining this structure, but instead, he gutted all 17 members and replaced them with individuals of his choosing.
RFK Jr. claims that these changes are to “restore trust” in vaccines by eliminating supposed conflicts of interest. Yet, publicly available meeting videos, minutes, and member disclosures provide no credible basis for this claim. His actions appear to be rooted in personal ideology and misinformation, not science.
Worse still, his public rhetoric marginalizes people with chronic illnesses, suggesting they burden the healthcare system—a dangerous and dehumanizing narrative. He also continues to cite debunked theories about autism and promotes pseudoscientific research directions that risk undoing decades of progress.
His influence is actively undermining public trust, dismantling critical infrastructure, and placing the health of our nation—especially its most vulnerable—at serious risk. I ask you to stand up for public health, science, and the wellbeing of your constituents by taking action against RFK Jr.’s dangerous overreach.
Thank you for your time, attention, and service.
