North Carolina remains one of eight states that does not have a medical canbabis program, and arrests folks for possessing even small amounts of cannabis. A recent poll shows 75% support medical cannabis legalization, and 55% support full legalization.
Listen to your constituents. We want reasonable, responsible regulation. NOT prohibition, which has been a proven failure.
The new hemp laws set to go into effect in Dec will harm cannabis users (many of which are veterans), cost hard working people their jobs, and destroy billions of dollars in business.
A prohibition on hemp is a loss for our state by all measures. If regulations can be made for harmful substances like tobacco and alcohol, there's no reason hemp (MUCH LESS HARMFUL) can't join the ranks.
Again, listen to reason and the constituents you swore to represent.
Regulation, not prohibition.
