I'm writing as a constituent to tell you how strongly I feel about any new funding for ICE, when the evidence of my eyes, the reporting I'm reading across a spectrum of publications, and the words I hear from people in Minnesota, tell me that ICE is acting as a paramilitary force, only with little governance and no accountability. No new funding for ICE. I ask you in the strongest terms to vote no on the DHS funding bill now before the Senate. I grew up in a Republican household, and I can tell you that my living parent finds this despicable, and my father who has passed would have found it both unbelievable and reprehensible. No more funding for ICE.
