Stop Youtube’s implementation of a draconian and faulty AI age-detecting system that will no doubt be used to collect and sell users’ data Youtube has done nothing to prove this program will work correctly, especially considering it is largely based off of your viewing history, an unreliable piece of information considering even they cannot figure out what is and isn’t appropriate for children to be viewing. All accounts of how the technology has worked so far has proved it to be nothing but a faulty system, and this will likely lead to the collection of hundreds of users whose information they were told was safe and wouldn’t be stored, will most likely have that information stored, stolen, and/or sold. Stop this AI garbage right now, and prevent the massive data breach just waiting to happen.
